lol i was gonna say - those first ones are exactly the style my mum would wear, and i think jenny is significantly cooler than my mum

i have been getting sick of the mechanics of glasses also i am lol vain so i am thinking of switching to contacts, but i am scared. i don't know if i can touch my eyeballs every day.

Jenny, having ordered a few wire framed Zenni glasses like that, I've a hunch that 464921 will be very, very thin and even kind of flexible. I was a bit disappointed when I received my own wire ones because the were so light and IMO not very attractive. My two cents!

I think I will probably go to stores and try on some styles and get a better idea of what I might like before I buy anything. I just don't feel confident about any of those glasses.

the glasses i ordered online last week arrived and they are good! they were essentially free but i paid for coatings and shipping, so $30. i think i need to get them adjusted a little or adjust myself - they're on a little crooked in this photo - kind of the same as my other glasses but black and not as wide/big.

Just came in on Friday, are surprisingly heavy to my face which hasn't worn glasses regularly since late last fall. I had the lady adjust the fit until they felt "balanced", which is in fact crooked by appearances, so they might need a little more adjusting.

however i would have liked more teeth

Robyn, those are nice! Very crisp, that glossy black makes them look like a delicious candy. And good with your brow shape, too.

I just ate lunch and have neither brushed nor flossed nor so much as rinsed. You wouldn't thank me for a tooth shot.

the only thing with these glasses is i'm quite sure no one's going to notice the difference btwn these and my other glasses, except maybe one or two friends - not a very dramatic glasses change-up! but that's okay; i'm still getting used to always wearing glasses anyway. and it's good to have a second pair!

debating about getting a 2nd pair from zenni because they're cute and $50 for glasses (for my script) is amazing. but it's still $50. hmm.

This, yes. Laurel I love that those are 'taller' than a typical black frame pair - I always feel like no one can see my eyes in my preferred style! (Which gives me freedom to put on drag queen levels of eyeliner & mascara..not complaining.)

They are "taller" but they also fall down my nose every 5 mins so that kind of negates the extra height from the top.

ahh, bugger. Mine do that too but I think I am just used to it :P

i just got mine from there. i LOVE them, tho i wish they had more selection. but i ended up finding ones that were great. the home try-on option is wonderful, i almost got my mom sold on new frames from my home try-on box, since my dad says her current ones make her look like the church lady.

i've tried warby parker frames but didn't end up ordering them - they are nice but did not suit me.

the band across the nose is wide and heavy looking in all their frames (because they are all plastic so to be sturdy enough i suppose it has to be that way). if that look doesn't work for your face (i know it's in fashion right now but i still can't get over how unsuited it is to my face).. you're out of luck. i worried that they are so masculine style, they made me look a little too androgynous! if i had longer hair/more obvious makeup it would be a better look

omg those are totally great! They are the Love brand, yeah? I have had a lot of luck with that brand of glasses (wearing a pair right now, actually).
