i have quite thick hair and so the shaving really works to tame it a bit and not have to blow dry all the time (because it is not only thick but kind of dry), so, like, shaving is actually a practical solution for my hair woes! lol.

roobyn: I'm cheap! I already paid for this one - I'll wait a while to let it grow a little more (basically I get my hair cut every 2 or so dyes.. though she trims for free everytime) and then maybe get some layers cut back in. I'm just bitching and moaning for no good reason ;)

I am not planning any drastic haircuts but I do have my hair in a clip today. I had to replace my work ID and in the photo, taken 4 years ago, I have longish hair. My hair is longish now for the first time since I had that photo taken. The dumb, mean lady at the ID place kept insisting I needed a new photo because I had changed my hair. I actually pulled the clip out and shook out my hair (and whipped off my glasses and said "Is it hot in here or is it just you?" (just kidding this lady is an asshole)) because for some reason, "It's the same length. It's just up in a clip" was not registering.

I love the administrative assistant in our office! She's super nice and smart and funny and always has good gossip. There's a lady in IT who's hilariously mean to other people but nice to me, which is awesome.

Everybody else pretty much sucks though.

In keeping w/ the thread, the AA has great hair. She and the mean IT lady and I enjoy being very catty about the many terrible, I mean just o_O wig choices our coworkers made. We want to host a very local, What Not to Wear-type show called Wig Intervention in which we swoop into people's cubes and kidnap them and take them wig shopping.

I hair is awful right now. So much so that I have it half up which i never do. I still can't decide what to do with the color. Blah. I need a cut.

It just grows so fast - hate that. I seriously need to get it cut like every 6 weeks if I want to keep it looking good. Obv I don't do that so wind up like this.

do not worry about underchin (lol "underchin"), for so many people have the underchin incl me and it is imo less of a big deal than most people think, like, maybe it's an issue in photos but irl, it's like, hey whatever (unless it is goiter-sized, which is more worrisome than anything else)
so what i'm saying is GET CUTE HAIR YES

in my experience people with puffy underchins mostly don't have them but what they have got is puffy vision.

Yeah but your hair isn't super short like that one. LL and I have spoken about this before. In a lot of ways super short hair can feel like more work than longer hair. I felt like a boy when dressed really casually (jeans/tshirt) so felt like I had to put more effort into looking girly with clothes/accessories etc.

laurel's hair isn't "short hair" it's just shorter than it was.

I don't often weigh in on haircut advice as I'm so crap at imagining how people would look if they did x or y to their clothes or hair (including self), but I am making an exception to endorse that cut on Abbott.

I sort of had similar hair (when I weighed 40 lbs less) and I way owned the scrubby boy look, accessorizing with the double deuce and all – this go round I wld actually make effort (I say now)
