itt "FUN SHIRTS"

phil idk sometimes i worry that dressing loudly as a bigger dude i just call attention to my size and risk looking outlandish in a bad way, but i like loud things! it is a conundrum

but its not loud in a garish way as long as you wear it right (which im assuming you do). also, i think it says a lot about someone's confidence! if i see a bigger dude doing color and print well, i think "oh, he's probably a great fuck". or "god, what a fag". or both.

on the flip side, i have no idea what people think when they see me dressed like a clown. btw, i dont dress like that upthread photo all the time. it was a persian themed party, and thats the closest i could come up with without having to go buy some new shit.

agree w everyone upthread that its an awesome shirt, if i ever found a floral fun shirt in my size i would probably be unable to resist

i actually have too many fun shirts. trying to offload some. actually what size are you? i do have some L (non-funshirt) stuff though I bought either to wear oversized or L or XL stuff I bought only because it was 90% off (so asian of me). a denim yohji coat with furry collar, maroon yohji sweater, a kooky henrik vibskov black/white knit robe...

i'm generally an XL but depending on sizing i wouldn't be surprised if i needed a 2X :(

this reminds me, these 'fun shirts' are pretty popular in HK (and i imagine japan, where HK gets all its style tips from). also khakis with contrast lining, cuffed so you can see whatever crazy polka dots/stripes live in the inside of your pants!!

oh yeah, i got a pair of those with plaid lining by the cuffs... from uniqlo in tokyo like 18 months ago! ive only worn them once. they were on sale for $10

oh, yeah there were a collab between visionaire and lacoste. they got a bunch of artists to make 'em. were super expensive, but got em at the 2nd hand store here in brooklyn for like $18 each! hoping more will pop up there. though i think the three i got are the three i like the best. wouldn't mind the tennis one or perhaps the vegas one.
