Very, very bad news from Pittsburgh: sisters Sarah & Susan Wolfe were found shot to death in their home. Some of you 90s punks, zine kids, and riot grrrls may remember Sarah from Septophila Records, a distro that she ran with her sister Jen (of Panophobia zine and bunnygrunt) that focused on female-fronted/powered bands (and that I sent an awful lot of my teenaged income to). Sarah and Jen's vast zine collection was donated to the University of Iowa library.No one has yet been arrested. Pittsburghers, I know a lot of you live in their neighborhood; please call homicide detectives if you saw anything suspicious last Thursday night, even if you think it was insignificant.Love and light to the Wolfe family and Sarah's and Suzy's friends in this horrible time.
