Not to sound too pedantic, but a lot of this stuff always stuck me as being way on the "tech-" side of house -- there seemed to be plenty of it around in the glory days of Chain Reaction. Who is making Chicago style house with vocals that also sounds like BC?

I don't know about chicago style, or vocals but was just about to post that the Mojuba Label has a lot of stuff that is definitely on the deep house/ dub spectrum
