Whatever happened to these lovely boys? They could have made it if they had continued but split up as they didn't want to sell out like Metallica did.

I don't know. There's something very rounded about all the lines in metal magic that make it particularly un-metal. Like if you slashes someone with that sword thing it would probably just fall apart.
