This is one of my favorite songs. My wife and I are interracial. She is black and I am white. Some people do not respect that we are together, but we do not let it bother us. It actually makes us feel better. From the stares by the black guys for me, and the white girls to her, and the old black and white folks who can't get over their ways, we let all their opinions go away.
