the video for "the sky is falling" was shot at Children's Fairyland.

they used to play in the Pacific NW so much! the one time I rode around on the BART at night by myself I went to see them at some tiny bar in Oakland. always used to love it when they covered The Residents. once they played here in Eugene and entered from the back in a procession, kicking legs like a chorus line, singing "Dead Like Us". stopping your raging mathrock onslaught for a puppet show intermission is always a good move.

is Eskimo (i.e. "the band that one other guy went to" any good? never heard them.

SEARCH: Teen Devil Worshipper Jonathan Cantero's List Of Activities For The 12th of October, on a 7" single.

ALSO SEARCH: any and all pamphlets on black math.

sleeve - that was probably the Stork Club, in its original location. By the time I saw them, they were playing larger clubs in the Bay Area The CD release show for Fancy had a black math lecture and butoh. I waited in line for their "last show ever" for about an hour and a half, but didn't end up getting in.

The guy who wrote most of the comedy songs (the Mr. Rogers "cover") didn't end up in Sleepytime GM.
