follow-ups to the U.S. #1s of 2003

I haven't heard of EEminem but I voted for Beyonce anyway. ;)

this is a pretty weak lineup considering what a great year 2003 was for singles. hopefully "Like Glue" will win this easy but i'ma vote for "I'm Glad," one of my favorite J.Lo singles, definitely the best that wasn't a major hit.

If it wasn't for Splash Waterfalls I may well have voted for Mr. Aiken (tbf I haven't heard "like glue" in forever, wasn't really into the sean paul thing when i last did)

'like glue' is absolutely the best sean paul single from this era

it's ok, but it's always been my least favorite of the Dutty Rock singles, more 7/10 than the all-time awesomeness of "Gimme the Light" or "Get Busy"

i just find "get busy" a lot more kinetic and danceable, much less static than the others - the way every chord change makes you dance slightly differently

"Like Glue" pretty amazing. But I think Deej is underrating "Get Busy" here, which I think had a lurid radioactive relentless intensity that other (though possibly equally good) diwali tunes lack.

Anyway saying "not even the best track on that rhythm" when talking about diwali is like saying some jungle tune isn't even the best jungle tune to use an amen break, or some guy wasn't even the hottest guy you saw in Barcelona that day.
