What I want to know is if there's any connection between the piano bit 30 seconds into the Who's "One Life's Enough" and Mike Post's "Cheers" theme--they're remarkably similar sounding to me.

i like "Mike Post Theme" and other parts of Endless Wire a lot but get the fuck outta here with this being a top 5 Who jam. talk about overselling your argument!

i think people harp on the cover of that album way too much. THEWHOHWEHT is hilarious.

This thread is going to make me sad, because it really is a very good song and it really isn't top 5. I'd probably rather hear Mike Post Theme than anything on Who's Next at this point, but that's a function of the one being overplayed.

I don't know, you might be able to sneak it into their top 25.
