The Urge - Jump Right In (those swivelly stilt things)
Veruca Salt - Volcano Girls (bungee cords)
I find both of these interesting because they seem to reflect a desire on somebody's part to convey how fun and joyous the band is, even as other aspects of the aesthetic are all about some totally opposite message. Like, Veruca Salt are a post-grunge alt-rock band but this video is trying to sell them as prom queens with guitars having a ball on their bungee cords (albeit with ludicrous high contrast video).... and I don't know anything about the Urge, but the rest of this video is full of 90s "weird" signifiers - weirdo hues, shears of the camera view plane, washed out low-contrast footage etc.

Looks like Carlos D stole his look from the bassist in that Veruca Salt video.
Like, Veruca Salt are a post-grunge alt-rock band but this video is trying to sell them as prom queens with guitars having a ball on their bungee cords - They also hired Bob Rock to produce that album, so maybe that was all part of the plan. I'm not a big fan of VS, but I actually think the "big rock" sound was a better fit for them than generic post-grunge.
There's probably a billion 80's hair-metal videos that could fit the bill for this, but here's one:

Salt-N-Pepa - R U Ready, featuring a visit to some kind of extreme sports park for rock climbing, gyroscope rides, and bungee jumping. Apparently they didn't get a lot of good footage because this, while seeming to be the actual plot of the video, is barely featured at all. But it also seems like the label was falling apart when this album came out, explaining how it sank without a trace in general, so maybe that was part of the problem.

Ella Mai - Boo'd Up - not really "no apparent reason" since it seems clear everybody is just having fun times and sweetie dates on the bumper boats and so forth, but maybe worth noting as a particularly high-profile example of the trope

This is an internet favorite. You know good well that the drummer vanishes after the set and the bassist is having to haul that rig back to the van.
