I guess this post is what finally convinced him to pull the trigger on Homegrown :) Still bracing myself for a cancellation or delayed release tho...

or an announcement about it being PONO/NYA exclusive or whatever. maybe this is the overarching strategy - make it so the $39.99 LP release seems like a great, accessible deal

The ultimate dick move would be to make it a Pono exclusive, since Pono no longer exists.

not to let the facts get in the way of everyone's bitching but the last spate of Archives releases have all been about $22 on vinyl including Songs for Just, the Roxy ($18 right now on Amazon) and Hitchhiker which is the most directly comparable to Homegrown

yeah if it's a single LP it probably won't be more than $20.

also i missed the bus on the roxy and tuscaloosa sets — worth it?

(some background: i liked the cellar door, fillmore east, and massey hall sets alright but did not get much out of them past the first few listens)

Roxy (imo) much more essential than Tuscaloosa
