I think it's often depressing when what you're attributing to the artist is the specific, er,
of the sound, and then you find out it already sounded that way before they sampled that. Like, with Daft Punk it's easy to just assume that
responsible for all the hyperreal plasticity in their music, so it's disappointing to discover they often sample it.
