Luv these guys. I don't know why I haven't sought out more of thier records. I only have Out There in the Dark, which s teh awesomeness.

it's dead easy to find their stuff cheap secondhand. always worth taking a chance on picking one of their discs up

almost no one gives a fuck but the new record is very good.
nothing's new with the sound, but thats fine.

Deb agoli left the band in 2001. Carey Gustafson drummed for them 2002-2006. In 2007 Samantha Linn started drumming and doing background vocals. She also fronts a band in Detroit called "The Arch Mystics" (they have a MySpace page). I agree with everyone on this page that OC is a fantastic band amd Matt Smith is a songwriting genius. was a bit underwhelmed on listen #1, but listen #2 is going down like a sweet sweet treat

i wish they would make another psych-dark sounding garage album, like out there/spectral projecion are.
cause although i still love the new Outrgeous lp with all my heart, they do tend to get kinda repetetive on their last albums.

Classic definitely. Haven't heard the more recent release, but I intend to fix that problem very soon.

Wasn't home when I wrote the previous post...The other two I have on my hard-drive are the first two on Stereo Action Rent Party: a good cover of "Sign of the Times" and "Days."

I feel like I'm not alone when I say that I don't like a single other band that sounds like Outrageous Cherry but I fucking love Outrageous Cherry. I don't know if it's that they just are so good at that sound that anything else seems redundant to me, or they're that good that I like them despite not being into that kind of music. Oh, who cares.

emusic sorted me out. one listenthrough has it as a vastly more laidback record than the previous one, in many ways their least psychedelic.. but it's definitely a grower, second listen has the songs already feeling like old friends

the only volebeats album i know is 'like her' which i dig a lot but halfway thru the newie i like it quite a lot more

The new one is great. They seemingly have an endless supply of hooks. I can't understand why they're so obscure.

i like the debut but it is easily the weakest of everything they've done. having said that, 'pale frail lovely one' is easily in my OC top 10
