So, you can download the remix pack for Only and The Hand That Feeds from nin.com. It's worth registering at the site with your anti-spam gmail account; download the Acid pack and unzip to get all of the WAV files (get it even if you don't have Acid or anything). Out of curiosity, I stripped the music from and listened to the acapella of Only and ... well, laughed my ass off.

T-Dogg is well-known for trying to be serious all the time (just look at them guns!), but this is over-the-top, damn near tongue-in-cheek. Note the hilarious falsetto background vox (NIN BGVocal Loop 02.wav) that would force any man in his right/wrong mind to collapse onto the floor writhing in laughter after a take. He's got to be in on the joke ... or is he?

His music has been laughable for years - but it's still sold. Perhaps this is a fact he knows and knows well, and just exploits - but has plenty of laughs while recording? Or is he really that ... oblivious? Serious? Who knows. You decide.
