i'm also going to see Bright Eyes at the Astoria (i think), plus Arcade Fire at King's, then i think that's it until my nostalgia trip with the Wedding Present at the Forum again, although that is possibly April. i have a terrible memory for these things, bad enough that i have cimpletely forgotten to go to shows in the past.

also, while i'm neglecting the Marchness of the thread, i saw Spoon put on a blistering performance at the Garage last night. Fran Healy, Graham Linehan and Chris Morris were there, hanging out. wouldn't necessarily have pegged those three for buddies.

Ones is a Brooklyn duo presenting battery-powered spiritual soul jams for our time and others. Current performance techniques include cassette manipulations and derivations thereof (soldering, resoldering, breaking, attemping to fix, opening, rewinding, stopping, changing), with occasional interjections of acoustic instrumentation and room ambience ascertained by omni-directional recording devices.
