Maurice Fulton...best tunes by him

Really enjoying the new Syclops album, but massively feeling the Fulton-produced solo album by former Freeform Five vocalist Tamara Barnett-Herrin. It's not anything he didn't do on Kathy Diamond's album but it feels a lot more immediate. Did this slip by everyone else?

the new boof album is amazing

I listened to it at like 5:30am this morning at the airport and it was really great and kept me moving!

his bass guitar sound is something else. especially on e.g. the recent boof album or the kathy diamond album it's like getting zapped, so much presence and electricity and bounce..

idk if this record has my favorite maurice fulton tunes on it (tho the first track and chicken and waffles are up there) but it's definitely a highlight in terms of how it presents his sound. also kind of a love letter to delay effects. also a good weed album.

his percussion always sounds amazing but it sounds extra amazing on this
