In one of those "Nirvana Baby is 'x' years old" moments:
Nana Futagawa, cover model for VCN, turned 22yo today.

Nana's mom Junco helped organize with EYE a huge exhibition of his t-shirts a couple months ago in Tokyo. According to Junco, three (or four?) of the shirts will be repro'd in collaboration with apparel retailer Beams. Here's Nana posing with the shirts:

i haven't revisited in a few years. but the last few times i've ventured into the vooredoms zone, i've found that rebore vol 0 has really stood the test of time

in a desert island situation or a situation where my apartment is burning and i only have time to save one family member + either VCN or Rebore 0, i think i'd reach for Rebore 0

possibly using the other hand to grab VCN while using my mouth to verbally yell at my family member to figure out how to get out

I agree, Rebore 0 is a real high point and much more relaxed/gorgeous than the thundering awesomeness of Super Ae and VCN

fuck i don't have/have never even heard rebore 0...?!?

it's on youtube too!
i remember running across it on audiogalaxy at the time - just grabbing any boredoms tracks i could, all with really bad metadata and weird titles. imagine dleone's first post above, with 8 different people offering their interpretations of what the titles were. anyway, somewhere in that mess was rebore 0, obviously related to VCN but it goes in a very different direction.
any other rebore0 heads? it is my #1 boredoms, i think

the biggest frustrating missing piece for me is the lack of a release documenting the eye + three trap drummers lineup, those tours were so fucking great. Super Roots 9 (iirc) kind of tries to be this but it's taken from a special date where they had a choir with them and it's not quite on the level of the shows I saw. I have audience recordings of that lineup of varying but mostly crappy sound quality.
sleeve <3 I will mail u
