80s song??? Sweetie Pie???

This is way obscure (for me at least). But I'm looking for artist or title of an 80s song that includes something to the effect of: "...not so shy, can you be my sweetie (or cutie, or sugar) pie?... Yes I can!!!" (last part with a high pitch girls voice).

This song was from the 80s and has been nagging me for years. This would be a huge stretch, but anybody of any ideas? Solve this, and my life would then be complete... :)-

I think it's either "Cutie Pie" by One Way (crossover r&b cuties) or "Cutie Pie" by Lime (hi-nrg disco cuties), but maybe I'm wrong....

Don't think it is One Way. It may be Lime, but haven't been able to find any samples of Cutie Pie. Have found samples of other songs, and the voices/style seems similar. Might be on to something there.

One Way's "Cutie Pie" is worth finding even it isn't what you're remembering.
