Accelerating / Decelerating Drone

I mean the speeding up and slowing down sound pattern heard throughout Aphex Twin : SAWII 2.10, Coil : Telepathine, Main : Haloform III or Boards of Canada : Diving Station..... sort of like what Aphex did with drums on the first track of the Richard D. James album, only more dense and not necessarily with drums. (Venetian Snares : Gottrahmen wd be the missing link here.)

Is there an official term for it that I can't think of? And most of all : do you happen to know other tracks with that kind of sound in it?
