Does any body know the author and/or title for the song written as a response to Oran Juice Jones' "The Rain" (I saw you [and him], walking in the rain)? They are mid-80s songs.

A google search has led me to believe it's "Thunder and Lightning" by Miss Thang.

Yvette Michelle does a riff on Oran's I-missed-you-so-much-I-followed-you-today rant in "I'm Not Feeling You," if that's what you're talking about.

No, that isn't it either. The song was released (I believe) within a few months to a year after Oran's, and has a similar sound to it. The lyrics are replys to everything that was said in "The Rain" - her smacking him back.

i own this, but it's buried somewhere deep within my 12" archives. it's called "the rain (thunder and lightning mix b/w the answer version)," by chocolate milk mama. a quick google search turned up a few copies. grab one.
