If I wanted to appreciate Keef as a player, writer and singer what tracks do I need to make a good cdr?

"You Got the Silver" from Let it Bleed
"Happy" from Exile on Main Street
"Before They Make Me Run" from Some Girls
"Little T & A" from Tattoo You
"Wanna Hold You" from Undercover
"Sleep Tonight" from Dirty Work
"Slippin' Away" from Steel Wheels
"Take it So Hard" and "Whip It Up" from Talk is Cheap
"Too Rude" and "Connection" from Live at the Hollywood Palladium
"The Worst" and "Thru and Thru" from Voodoo Lounge
"You Don't Have to Mean It" and "How Can I Stop?" from Bridges to Babylon

Those are all good. Might go over 80 minutes though, I'm not positive...

I've still never heard Main Offender.. :( I need to correct that.

The holler at the end of "Prodigal Son" is great.

I love when Keef sings. I was just watching my mom's copy of the Four Flicks DVD, there's a great "Slippin' Away" in there. also I love when he sings on "Salt of the Earth". and "Thru And Thru" is another favorite.

how are his solo albums?

Don't forget All About You from Emotional Rescue. That's a doozy!

there's an easter egg on the pirates of the carribean dvd that has an interviewer asking keef his thoughts on johnny's performance. it's kinda funny (it's the only thing i saw on the dvd).

Fuck, how in the FUCK could I forget "Comin' Down Again" from Goats Head Soup?? Anyway, that goes on the CDR. Bump whatever you need to make room for it.

Don't forget "Somethng Happened To Me Yesterday" from Between the Buttons, where he and Mick trade lead vocals. I think that was his first time singing lead, It seemed a bit like the Stones' version of the Beatles giving Ringo a turn, which they dropped for later Keith songs.
