Some of them have been interesting and surprising. Varg saying that he wasn't a metalhead and rarely liked a whole album by a metal band. That he thought there was nothing special about the early scene, that he doesn't mind clone bands at all and that he thinks it's likely there's a Burzum clone that surpassed the original.

I find these clips almost impossible to watch - even though it adds some interesting backgrounds to all the history, he's such a condescending blowhard.

But yeah the electronic influence was always obvious, there's already two ambient pieces on the debut, and even the guitar-based songs had a different mood and were structured quite unlike most preceding death/thrash metal. Loads of people in the Norwegian metal scene were into electronic music, I always liked the story of how Euronymous stalked Conrad Schnitzler (of Tangerine Dream) and got him to do an intro for their demo back in 1987.

I don't think he's in competition with Fenriz. It's a different sort of history he's giving. Are there many positive accounts of Euronymous? Was he really into snuff films?

Has he ever said anything about exterminating any race? As far as I know he just wants to avoid being demographically & culturally replaced (which is a desire that's expected and goes without questioning from pretty much everyone except whites).

Ferreira has been cast in Lemonade director Jonas Åkerlund’s upcoming movie Lords of Chaos, which is based on the 1998 book of the same name by Michael Moynihan and Didrik Søderlind. As Deadline reports, the film, which Åkerlund co-wrote with Swedish scriptwriter Dennis Magnusson, documents the band’s career in the early ‘90s when they were associated with violent acts of varying extremes, from bringing sheep heads on stage to burning down churches. The film also covers the period following the band’s split after the murder of Øystein Aarseth by his then-bandmate Varg Vikernes, aka Burzum.

Yes please. Any specific recommendations for dungeon synth? Daudi Baldrs is my favourite Burzum disc, love Aghast, I quite like some of Mortiis' dungeon music era and I really like it when metal types do purely atmospheric stuff. Moevot sounded alright in places.
