My head hurts. I have this intense feeling to name at least 20 other songs, but I am going to try my hardest to let this be it.
Oh yeah, and there was a period of about three or so years when I was insanely angry about the whole U2 mystique thing, mainly because I had become so fed up with the outwardly negative response Duran Duran (my pet cause, apparently... *laughs*) has gotten with the music press and so bitter about how unrelentingly positive the response U2 (whom I also love, but not as intensely) has gotten with the same music press, but then I just let everything go and ever since then, I've been able to really enjoy listening to both artists, no problem.

I will say that "Stuck In A Moment You Can't Get Out Of" is one of the most pointlessly redundant titles I've ever encountered. Does Bono realize that the word 'stuck' implies that you can't get out? Ugh. If they just left it at "Stuck In A Moment," it would have been a really nice, sweet title.

after seeing them live on a balmy manchester night in 05 and being absolutely astonished, i've been steadily investigating the back catalogue with the help of threads like this. keep em coming! it's way interesting.
never having really known much beyond the biggest hits, i'm coming around to the feeling that had i been a music buyer i'd have loved the pre-RATTLE.. era 80s u2 and that much of that stuff and what followed has been misinterpreted, misunderstood and maligned for no good reason*. i'm pretty amazed to be honest.
*except yeah u know the whole bono thing but hey.
