Mink Lungs -- I'll Take It

Jeezus christ, has anybody else heard this yet? Put the early 90's rosters of Pavement, Superchunk, and the Flaming Lips into a collective hive, overseen by various Mothers of Invention, and you wind up with this album.

Songs about flying saucers, pissed-off dishwashers, bitchy landladies--all performed by an oddball calvacade of indie rockers.

Seriously -- pick this up as soon as fuckin' possible.

Still -- You guys should fuckin' hear this. For the song about the dishwasher burning down the frathouse, if nothing else.

I don't this one is q u i t e as good as the first one, but still better than a lot of other stuff out there. Had this actually been the first album and The Better Button never existed, I'd probably be talking this one up all over the place. But, as it is, I'm a little let down by it.

Hi Tim. Since July, I've warmed up a little more to I'll Take It, and now I can't pick a favorite.

Hoping you make it to Nashville at some point...

fifteen years pass...

just to highlight another time that ILM got a pop-in from a band.
well, that and the fact that I am listening to the albums again.
not heard them in years.
still love the chaos/fuzz pop/randomness etc.
