As much as I want to see those lovable underdog Mighty Ducks take it, I have to remember that they're owned by Disney -- I mean, what kind of Mickey Mouse team would name themselves after ducks...? ... oh wait... (sorry, bad -- not to mention horrible outdated, Space Jam references).

Vancouver/New York in '94 was incredible (from this Vancouverite perspective)... except the wrong team won in the end.

I think they should get Nickelback playing between periods, and have Chad Kroeger attacked by tATu-inspired Punjabi lesbian schoolgirls until he agrees (on his mother's life) to never write or record another song, while all the time an intense and committed Paul Kariya pirhouettes in the background to a hip hop version of Swan Lake.

I wanna see the Ducks win. As much as it would pain me to see yet another Disney-owned sports team claim a title (to say nothing of the ridiculous moniker - a bald affront to the proud sport of hockey), I just have a deep-seated hatred of the Devils. ok, yes this is pettiness because I'm a Red Wings fan. I cannot forget '95. Also, a Devils loss would preserve the Wings status as the only post-Edmonton team with three titles. I've got tons of respect for Scott Stevens - what an unbelievable player - but I just don't want to see him hoist it again.

the canucks were in the best series i have ever seen too, the 89 series against the flames, the double overtime game seven was unbelievable. they always seem to come up short though. great first period, they haven't rolled out a singer yet.
