C90: Dissection

I need a mix to play in the classroom -- ie no hardcore cursing, mysogony etc -- during dissection of fetal pigs, chicken wings, cadavers... What is the mood to set during the slicing of something directly parallel to ones own anatomy -- harsh beats, or mellow background music

You could always play some Dissection. Their "No Dreams Breed in Breathless Sleep" might set the tone.

Order the CD by Vivisection Syndicate from www.emeritusrecords.com ... it's actually very nice, varied music, appropriate in any circumstance. Mostly instrumentals. Very good!

Pan sonic said their music souded like 'raw horse meat' so I think that would be most suitable and would probably turn the class into some kind of damien hirst like conceptual artwork.
