I think King of the Kerb and Insomniac are great.

I think "Car Fiction" is perfectly sublime.

One out of every six of his songs is worth a second listen.

eliminate with extreme prejudice.

Their instrumental passages, & skilful use ov compound time sigs is pretty much second to none, I think, very minor-key orientated, gritty sound oh hang on, I was thinking of King Crimson there.

one year passes...
revival

based on On they're pretty fucking classic, I'd say.

I like 'Midnight Special'.

eleven years pass...

Jesus Christ, I can't believe how much shit this band got. They were harmless, and really quite tuneful, fun, and... what that hell is wrong with some of you? (in other threads concerning Echobelly). You're all fucking monsters.

This thread is fine. It's just... other threads. I've seen this band slagged off more than a few times across ILM...

But, now it's on, fuckers...

I will come to your house and fucking kill you if you dare to speak another word against Echobelly. Don't even fucking try it. Seriously. Don't fucking try to. Don't fucking try it with me.

That's all.

Which is remembered more fondly, third-tier Britpop band Echobelly or people threatening "don't fucking try it" on ILX?

I bought an Echobelly cd single one time. The song was pretty good.

Give Her A Gun is the song on here I liked. I haven't heard it in years but I remember it sounded just like a Suede song.

Ok, just played it on YouTube and this band is terrible. Now I remember why I haven't played it since the mid90s. One song on the EP had a digeradoo. Like the feminist lyrical themes though. Points for that.

four years pass...

Haven't listened to these folks in ... 25 years? Whenever the first album cam out. Sounding pretty good! Like a major key Suede.
