I bought just after Xmas Turbonegro - Apocalypse Dudes, and its a terrific album. Apparently theres quite a few albums + a tribute album with QOTSA and various hardcore bands on it. Worth checking out?
and of course, Turbonegro : C/D ?

I have a feeling this thread has been done already, but yeah, fucking classique.

what I've heard was okay I guess. Found the dude's voice a little irritating and the whole sound was fairly generic pop-punk but for nice little singalong melodies, I guess it fit the bill... Hehehe you can tell I'm a metal fan can't you.

sad news.
only have the one album, scandanavian leather, an absolutely hugely enjoyable blast of an album.
really wish i had seen them live as their gigs sound like they were quite something.

Saw them twice with Hank and they were amazing. Esp the 1st gig when they did an encore of my 3 fave songs from Apocalypse Dudes and finished with I Got Erection. In between Hank did a strongman act.

exactly as expected.
prior to him dying i knew little of the band, but having read up since, i feel i definitely missed out.

Apocalypse Dudes is such a handgrenade of an album. Lightning in a bottle-stuff.

Hank was one of the greatest. His albums with Turbonegro are pure fire.
