No Knife: C/D?

As far as that heavier rock guitar 'emo' pop genre thing, No Knife seems the winner in my eyes. I haven't listened to an album by any other band that made anything as good as "Fire in the City of Automatons". Although I haven't heard the latest stuff. How is it?

"Hit man Dreams" comes pretty damn close, and has their best songs, but also has some stuff that just didn't hit me. (no pun intended). "Drunk on the Moon" has some classics, too.

was a big fan of Fire In The City of Automatons when it first came out. haven't listened to it in two years, but i'm sure if i get back to it, i'll still love it.

I've ONLY heard what I presume is the new stuff-pretty good, but a little bland.

The Red Bedroom off of Riot for Romance is a really good song.. otehr than that all I have is Hit Man's Dreams which is good, but seems dated.

I've only heard "Hit Man Dreams" and have seen them once, but they surely bring the rock. File between Drive Like Jehu and Rocket From The Crypt, I guess...

one year passes...
This is an example of a band that I LOVED until they released a full-length. They put on incredible shows after forming.

I saw them late in their career on a lark ('99) and was let-down even with low-expectations.

Their latest "No Riot For Romance"(?) is still growing on me, but I doubt it really will eventually hit it as well as "Fire in the City" did...

Nope. "Fire" is still their best. I revisited their albums tonight.
