Tough not to vote for "Ashes to Ashes", probably my favourite Bowie single

A lot of really fantastic songs there but “Everybody’s Got to Learn Sometime” is an all time favourite for me, such a beautiful record.

I know about half of these songs

I will never "get" 2nd wave ska but otherwise there's a lot of great stuff here

Fairly easy vote for 'Upside Down', single of that year. Bowie close behind though.

Man, what a great group of tunes. It's not even my favorite necessarily, but I went with Another One Bites the Dust because I think it's underrated, and unless I'm wrong it's the only one of those songs that the Detroit Lions covered.

Hurts to choose between "A Forest" and "Ace of Spades"

Toss up between Bowie, Joe Jackson and Dexys for me.

Never thought I would have to choose between "Celebration" and "It's Different for Girls." Both so absolutely ingrained in my mind and heart, but for such different reasons and with such different emotional valences. I must go off and think.

Almost went with the Jam but ultimately voted for Bowie.
