poll inspired by listening to Be-In a lot, and I also deathlessly adore Burned and the Rave Up, but I'm mostly running this as an attempt to engineer a critical reevaluation of Odditorium, all FOUR of whose choices here are genuine contenders and fantastic, overlooked rock soundscapes one and all. ofc so FRAUDULENTLY panned was that album that they never tried to be good or interesting again, alas

“be in” is amazing of course but never considered it epic for some reason

well I chose the 7-minute cut-off so it'd sneak in, I love how it just keeps going even after triumphing

as an act of kindness to the other songs here I did not add Godless/Mohammed/Nietzsche as an option

and a 6-minute cut-off would have had everyone probably justifiably voting for Genius, so

Never thought I'd get to express my love for "Valerie Yum" on ILX! Man, the slowed vocals and then the speedup, I know on some conscious level it's corny, but it just HITS for me.
