This is a lovely wee comp of dub-influenced post-punk. Which song do YOU like the best?

OK, that's funny: I literally bought this on Saturday!

Normally, "Death Disco" would be a shoe-in, but I did enjoy "Where there's a will" for the first time of hearing it for a long time!

i have never heard of this, nor ever seen it out in the wild. unfortunately.
this looks great.

suspect it would go well with the wrongtom comiled album of similar grooves :

I just bought the Killing Joke release In Dub rewind as I never managed to get the tour only Vinyl compilation that now goes for 200+.

So this is very much where my heads at, will check out the above.

I did wonder if this particular genre would be classed as cod-dub?

great comp.

hard to choose from The Clash, Pop Group, Vivian Goldman, Killing Joke and Grace Jones.

Typical Girls is all time but i don't love the (brink style dub). i have heard Death Disco too many times to want to vote for it.

it's a coin flip between Pop Group and Vivian Goldman. Vivian won, though actually i love her vocal version even more. the dub of Private Armies also appears on the 1st New Age Steppers album too.

that Wrongtom comp is also really good.

oooh good one. There's so much I love on this. Think I'll go for Turn To Red as that's the one that popped in my head the moment I thought of this comp

I usually think of this comp along with this one:

Thanks for that "Spiky Dread" tip, I missed that one, will rectify!

So many great tracks. The Vivian Goldman single is all-time, and Red Beat did just one thing but they did it extremely well.

Voted Killing Joke.
