Kept scouring for a proper thread and couldn't find one. Mostly just comments scattered about from past EOY album polls and bobbins threads. Feel like now is as good a time as any to start one. This guy is certainly good at generating a cult of mystery (anonymous, vinyl only releases, not on streaming sites other than YouTube, music has themes of mysticism and spirituality) and yet constantly delivers the goods when it comes to memorable, immediate, yet compelling tracks for the dance floor and for headphones. The DJ Healer Nothing 2 Loose album is a perfect starting point for those just getting into him and is like his "selected ambient works" to a certain extent.

He's got a few new releases out this week, two as "Phantasy" called Ibiza 1 and 2 and an album as DJ Metatron called Loops of Infinity (a rave loveletter). Been obsessed with this music for some time now, and some of the live sets and DJ mixes out there are just as amazing and often chalk full of new, unreleased material. This guy is clearly prolific.
One of the better tracks off the Ibiza releases:

And a very pretty one off of Loops of Infinity:

Really like his stuff but haven't listened deeply. I only have ♾️ and every time I put it on I think "this really should be listened to at 2am" but I'm never awake at 2am these days.

yeah I've tracked down much of his work via dubious means online, and since these records are near but impossible to buy at reasonable prices unless you order directly from his online store:

Nothing 2 Loose got a repress late last year and used prices dropped down to the $60 range. Not sure where they are now.

A lot of his stuff is nice in a soft of sub-Kompakt mopey sadsack way but as this stage I need convincing that he isn't just running some kind of elaborate techno Ponzi scheme.

mopey sadsack
I get none of that with his stuff. More of a peaceful calm. He's got more in common with Laraaji in terms of vibe/atmosphere than Kompakt imo
