Kind of an overrated album. I think "Steeler" or "Metal Gods" for me.

Most of the songs are good but don't reach past heights.

Not a flawless record, but oh my, the many great moments are perfect. I have never tired of Breaking the Law and Living After Midnight, but I went with Metal Gods because it's so darn heavy and it's always a highlight whenever I see Priest. Plus I love the story about how they used a drawer full of cutlery to create the marching sound effect.

Went for "Living After Midnight" because "Breaking the Law" is gonna run away with this.

was gonna say, there are like six Priest albums I'd reach for before this one. That said, I'll probably vote "Steeler"

Prolly "Metal Gods." (Is that the one with the marching sounds? I saw the Classic Albums doc, and they said they did that by shaking the silverware drawer, which was in Ringo's house/studio!).

yeah i usually agree, but i reached for this one and it hit the spot. and it has steeler on it.

"Metal Gods", though every month or so, doing some minor rule infraction triggers "Breaking the law! Breaking the law!" in my head.
