this year feels a lot more open in terms of possibilities than last year and if the results are even weirder than last year i'm looking forward to being surprised then

i'm really confident in my albums list but my songs list felt like a mess even as i was submitting it, and i've technically been working on it for a few months now lol

Incoming ballots might change some things, but there are definitely some songs which I didn't expect to make it and which are a nice surprise imho... also yes, without revealing too much, if the ballots received today don't change the scores significantly on the bottom we might indeed have another SZA scenario this year.

ok so having put together a singles list in post pub haste last night I awoke late this morning with a start and the realisation that I had somehow omitted my #2 track. I have resubmitted a tracks ballot, although I have no confidence that it matches my previous ballot, if you could see to it that my previous terrible error was corrected then my partner's scorn and disdain for my morning ballot panic will have all have been worth it

I can confirm the results are bonkers, also there’s a huge song that I thought was a top 20 contender and it is not even in the top 77.

My initial guess was something featuring Dua Lipa or off the Black Panther soundtrack but on reflection probably the most likely outcome is ILM giving the hard 78 to 'This Is America'.

Aww, I'm sure your tracks ballot could have helped a few things I like, lol

I worry that I've become so suggestible in this regard that I need to see people's ballots before the rollout.

Trying to piece it together from the noms thread is just too bewildering.
