Unperson, those are the two hits and three really strong album cuts imo! "4th of July" might be my favourite song on that album.

Black Hole Sun is one of the worst songs Soundgarden ever recorded. It's one of the worst songs of the 1990s. Whether that's why it was a massive hit, I will not speculate.

I don't hate it but that one isn't my favourite at all (decent Aerosmith verse, monotonous chorus). It does annoy me that 'everyone' seems to know this great, weird heavy band by that one atypical ballad. They obv made the right commercial call by not cutting it, though, ha.

I think the conventional wisdom is that Judas Priest's albums are better, but Iron Maiden live is life-changing. That's how I feel about it, anyway.

Soundgarden are a great band with no front-to-back great albums. (Ultramega OK and Badmotorfinger come closest, to me.)

Paw's Dragline was one of my 8 free CDs from Columbia House back in the day, that's the main thing I remember about it.
