Between Chromatics and Grimes for me. (The Chromatics song has been burned into my brain because the local college station uses the instrumental version of it as a music bed during the times the dj has to talk.)

Chromatics, Grimes, Maus or FKA Twigs... Tough one this, but it's a p sweet list.

I love Bay of Pigs, but that is essentially a 2009 song, even though that edit came out in 2011.

MarkoP: yes I know I’m cheating on that technicality. But I could have chosen another one from that album easily. I also love Tinseltown from the new album but it feels like it’s too early to tell if I’ll love it over the rest in a couple of years... my pick will probably change in the end. The synth + Bejar part in Bay of Pigs is too good tho and one of my favorite things he’s done.

I voted for Pachanga Boys, was kicking myself for not spotting REALiTi in the list until afterwards so I'm glad it's getting plenty of love.

I was going to vote Realiti as it’s probably my favorite song of the decade buuut it will get enough love so voted for Summer Friends instead which I have been obsessed this week.

Maybe Should’ve voted Alvvays or Big Thief. Those songs have been addictive too.

yeah, I agree. It's a great list, with a lot of stuff on it that I could vote for, but nothing on it has affected me as much as realiti demo

yeah me neither, also if you don't hear the difference between the demo and the version on Art Angels you're just not paying attention. it has everything to do with phrasing, delivery, sonics. it's a beguiling song, I love both versions, but the demo is a testament to the magic of recording and capturing something in amber forever.

With Realiti sufficiently and deservedly showered with votes, I'll throw my vote towards John Maus.
