Woah I'd have to relisten to the oeuvre -- now there's an idea, actually. P sure "Super-Electric" would be in, though.

Here's 10 out of 20 from my painstakingly assembled ballot for last year's poll. Though I'd probably still be just as happy with the other ten.

Kyberneticka Babicka Pt.1

Maximum big surprise! (Nag! Nag! Nag!), Sunday, 21 May 2017 07:43 (one year ago) Permalink

Kyberneticka Babicka just missed the cut for my list. Glad to see it here.

xpost: haha Jenny is actually my #1 vote on the Stereolab poll. It's actually one of my favorite by them but not really listening to it in the past year. It's all time top 10 Stereolab for sure tho.

Doh, strike Black Arts and insert "Golden Ball".

Bashir-Worf Hypothesis (Leee), Tuesday, 23 May 2017 18:47 (one year ago) Permalink

there's something about Fluorescences that seems to distill so many of the things that Stereolab were experimenting with and exploring, into this beguilingly great pop song. i don't know, i can't remember the last time i listened to the same song 7-8 times in a row while walking every day for a week.

I never heard this until today:

Pretty damn good! Anyone have a POX of their remixes work?

No mention of Au Grand Jour? That's my POO for life (The rock version, not the quiet version)

flamboyant goon tie included, Saturday, 9 February 2019 22:49 (two months ago) Permalink

Out of all the band's I love, I think Stereolab is the one whose song titles will always remain a mystery.

nicky lo-fi, Sunday, 10 February 2019 05:23 (two months ago) Permalink

I mean I can't remember them, not that I can't understand them.

nicky lo-fi, Sunday, 10 February 2019 08:10 (two months ago) Permalink

When I'm not drinking, I should make myself a double disc 30 song comp for the car. Learn some of those song titles.
