Tirzah is the best. Her work with micachu is also off the shelf; top drawer stuff.

Loving the record. It's been such a long wait since her 2013/2014 EPs.

This has been growing on me. Also it's sooo UK.

Strong Dean Blunt vibe here.

Also has some extreme James Blake vibes here and there (like on 'Do You Know').

very much taken with this record, which at moments seems similar to say the oneohtrix or yves tumor, but has that extra magic bit of squiffiness. guilty is my favourite atm, this year's endlessly repeatable little jewel. something calmly confident about it, that oddly effortless flow

Loving this record. Definite hype Williams vibes in the production; as much as hypnagogic bedroom music gets bandied around this is a perfect version of that.

Nice and tirzah are a dream team: also on previous releases like I’m not dancing, their voices mesh perfectly

Just realized children fell Jackie melodically mirrors holding on from this record. Mica is a class act

The sonics got old really fast for me on this one, which is a shame, because there was a lot of subtle beauty in that very honest approach.

old in which way?

really liked the minimal fizzled out sounds on this one, like on the intro track which seems to threaten to disappear into the ether

not dated, but lacking in detail and depth. Which is part of the charm in the first place I know, but some of the tracks just fell flat after a few listens. On Holding On and Gladly especially, the quirk started to work against itself and I now can't listen to the latter because of how much the snare annoys me.

how do you like it in comparison to her earlier work, like the i'm not dancing EP
