Voted the latter option. The mid-2000s were both long enough ago that I've already started to forget a lot of these bands (Wolf Parade, Patrick Wolf, AIDS Wolf and...?) and not long enough ago to be of any historical curiosity yet.

I liked AIDS Wolf and (sometimes) Wolf Eyes. I don't know what Wolf Parade sounded like. I think I heard Patrick Wolf on Radio 2? Sort of sophisticated orchestrated pop? xp

Crystal Wolf Diamond Eyes would surely be the band of all bands from the time (if it existed).
