Have you ever seen a more pathetic attempt at looking "current" by a dinosaur?

Huh? It just looks like a prog band to me. This is different how?

A much more pathetic attempt at being trendy by a dinosaur.

Whoops. The link redirects you to the main page. So much for the joke.

The original link in this thread = very, very hilarious.

I like the guy at the head of the flying V of ROCK, who bleached his hair to look like Linkin Park.

Also, the red shoes.

Yes I have.

Do I lose points for not only knowing who the band was without looking at the title bar, but for also thinking that it's not a bad picture (considering, of course, that they've pretty much looked like this all along, more or less)?

That Tom Jones picture WILL give me nightmares. Thank you.

Tom Jones is so unhip that he is hip. My bro and sister in law won tickets (they passed up a chance to see the very pathetic KISS) and saw him in concert on that very tour. He does have a set of pipes n his band kicked major ass, but he still is a joke...though no more than, say, Rod Stewart has become. :)

Even more pathetic attempt to look modern:

I'm sorry, "so unhip it's hip" is now unhip. In fact, "hip" itself is out. That's Tom Jones AND Rod Stewart, whose new Tony Bennettized crossover CD just completely eats shit. It's also Tony Bennett, whose "Me and My Friends" album is Godawful. I guess that's also all Tony Bennett's friends, who include, I believe, Ray Charles (who actually sounds like he's vomiting on this record) and the very, very irrelevant Sheryl Crow. I could be wrong about her being on that record but that doesn't negate her irrelevance. I know this because she's also irrelevant on Steve Earle's SIDETRACKS, and on her own last release. I don't know if Rod or Tom have friends, but I'm willing to bet they're all played out, as well. I wish all of the above would relinquish their stranglehold on today's music. By the way, I've seen much worse pictures of King Crimson. At least they're not wearing brocade anymore.

Good. What a relief. Irony is hard work.

Heyyyy...wait a cotton-pickin' minute. I thought that Irony was out of style again! Fuck! Where's my copy of Cosmo. I must do some research.
