well and also to be pedantic, the lyric is "unforgiven, too"....though it would be totally like Hetfield to bark "UNFORGIVEN TWOOOO-OOOOOOOOOOOH----WAHHH!" like he was adding ending credits to his song

114. Depeche Mode, "It Doesn't Matter Two"

The last line in the song is "it doesn't matter" and the "two" is only in the title because they had an earlier song that was also called "It Doesn't Matter", so for me this counts.

134. rodd keith - the ballad of juan rio

increasingly bonkers (rushomancy), Saturday, 25 February 2017 21:52 (seven years ago) link

''Wipeout'' is a great pick, bravo. My brain keeps reaching for things in the line of ''Last Exit'' and ''Life and How to Live It'' (notwithstanding the latter's disqualification) - songs that pound breathlessly forward, gasping out the title only as they run out of breath and the band packs it in. Feel like I've known and loved many songs like this but it's really hard to think of 'em!

tales of a scorched-earth nothing (Doctor Casino), Saturday, 25 February 2017 22:03 (seven years ago) link
