060b Max Romeo - / Lee Perry "Revelation" (UPSETTER)
Last time of checking, was wrong. The track that is/was there was "War in a babylon dub" from the Island single.
Unless that's changed.

RE: the Colyer single--i think it was established as the "If I Cease to Love"/"Bucket Got a Hole in It"/"Wild Cat Blues" one..

Sorry I have been out of the loop for a while. I am now half way through collecting the vinyl versions of these songs. Ken Colyer's EP is on Tempo records EXA 26. It includes "Isle of Capri/St Phillip St Breakdown/Shine & Gentofte Blues. I picked up the copy from New Zealand. I have the following B Sides. Roshell Anderson & Yami Bolo.I will try to post up soon. Bob Robinson

The December issue of Record Collector in the UK definitely shows a record matrix number of Tempo EXA 26, which is the St Phillip St Breakdown EP.. Is there any further evidence on this.

which isn't much help as both covers are *very* similar 8) but yes, If I Cease is shown and played in the documentary (over John's school photo where he's wearing a different style blazer to everyone else, near the start of part two iirc). can't explain the Record Collector catalogue number except that it's easy to mix them up.
buy them both 8)

So, they got the Ken Colyer e.p. wrong, but then I think they are probably right about the Electro Hippies single:
The one we have is the 12" Strange Fruit session, whereas they have it as the limited edition "Mega armageddon death/You suffer" split with Napalm Death that Strange Fruit did. Not to be confused by the similar one Earache records did.

I have dial up at home, but a faster connection at work, but no torrent. If anyone can stick some in the odd zip file, would be most greatful. I do have a mate who can do torrent stuff, but would need some specific info to be successful, as I'm pretty clueless with that end of things.
Thank you very much.

In case I missed anyone on an email (2 computer crashes, so I never know anymore): I intended to burn the whole thing to CD and put it in a nice little box for all the folks who contributed. Send me an email if you were the source of some material for the box, and I'll get things underway.

you can burn cds using multisession support which means you can add tracks later. this only(?) works with cds burnt as data (ie mp3s) and not (i don't think) burnt as audio (but then, by my calculations you'd need about 10 cds for the audio version and 2 for the mp3s)

have just ordered the stanley winston single (095) (was listed under its b-side) and am bidding on roshell anderson on ebay (083). you wait ages for one and then 3 come at once...
annoyingly, a copy of the Yami Bolo single went on ebay about a week ago (£10.50). maybe someone should email the winner with a cheeky request...
