This is one of those cds I play for house guests all the time and they never fail to try to mug me for a copy before the evening's over.
Hey hey put it in print, make a mint.

Yo Dan, you can ask Stuart directly at http://www.appelstein.com/ymgforum. Someone needs to reissue his '90s solo catalog pronto - most of those releases were on Feel Good All Over, which of course has long vanished.

(sorry to blow my own horn - it's just a shame that the guy can't get a decent US record deal.)

I have one of those CDs. Honestly I don't think we could handle his later solo releases. Everything we do, we invest so much money in that there has to be a relatively big market, and while I think I could sell a Gist CD, his solo records probably wouldn't do as well. I look forward to the point where maybe Acute can be big enough to put all sorts of worthy stuff back in print, but for now I want to focus on more landmark/lost type things. Don't know if you saw mention, but we're doing a Prefects CD now, and still waiting to sort out some stuff with the Lines.

Yeah, I hear you. The world definitely needs a Gist reissue, though; on that we can agree.

A dog named Nixon, what a hip fuck Moxham is. The inner tray card of the Ryko re-ish has a priceless photo of the makings of two giant spliffs laid out on the mixing board. The band all look like gay poets, striped shirts n all. Awesome.
>>Back to the project!!!

one year passes...
I think Embrace The Heard was just reissued, I just bought it new at Amoeba, unless they found some back stock.

this sounds amazing! the idea of ymg, weed and cold storage studio sounds impossibly rich. w/ eno inspired interludes!

i must get a copy of this- plus i read the producer phil legg went on to produce t. t. darby. the hardline according to...stuart moxham!

unreleased album is now released and it's pretty good, sounds like Durutti Column, Radio Dept and reggae.

Oh wow, thanks for the heads up! All the versions with the book/booklet are gone already, sadly.

Oh, and a "related items" from that led me to this quietly charming French tribute compilation to various Moxham-related projects:
