I've only heard The World Is a Ball, though Spoons and Cats Can Fly were on the TV and radio at the time. My parents knew Mark Gane's parents, so we heard a bit about the protracted recording sessions in Bath.

The only record I ever bought in Montreal was Henry Cow's debut on vinyl.

I remember a Spoons LP as being… okay? Good, maybe?

"Take Me To War" from Blue Peter's Radio Silence is an impressive Siren-era pastiche.

The World Is A Ball gets the vote. The first half is solid, and Song In My Head is so damn happy.
