I’m halfway done. Hoping to finish in the next few days but it may be right at the deadline.

I haven't had time to record the lyrics I wrote, but I will send Maresn3s audio tomorrow, I promise.

song's music and lyrics are written, and guide track recorded. hoping to have my friend collaborate on it - if for some unlikely reason we can't work that out, my backup plan is I will record it as a solo track (and keep Bo Jackson Overdrive name either way, as it works as both a group name and a solo act name).

but the hard part is done thankfully, lol...had such bad writer's block and rewrote it from scratch at least once.

This has been a good exercise in underscoring several of my many limitations.

OK, I've got a good problem to have. I've ended up with *two* tracks, one DIY, and a totally different one I made with the help of a ringer. Neither has lyrics, but if Taylor has made it this far releasing nothing but instrumentals, so can I. The challenge is deciding which one to submit!

If there is an emergency, I do have an extra track that another friend of mine and I devised that sounds like really lush hold music, free to anyone that feels like adding vocals/anything.

I never actually finished mine so let me know if I can keep tinkering. Staying up until 2:30 to “finish” it was a bad idea. As with college papers, I sent what I had.

I know I haven't been about much for the past few years but I'm not sure I would have resisted putting something together for the Post Malone track using just samples from Fortnite and him saying "should we sample this?"

FINALLY have full power restored to the house so I can bring it on home. The windstorm knocked out the neutral line to the house - when power first came back automatically after the first blackout on Thursday, there were still lines down and the resulting voltage spike killed a half-dozen surge suppressers, along with a microwave, a dishwasher, and *fuckfuckfuck* my SL-1200MK3. The first two can be repaired, replaced if absolutely necessary but I'm standing vigil for my turntable.
