yeh i went to that link and it reminded me that Super Discount Deux actually happened and is finally coming out!

Stevem On X (blueski), Friday, 7 January 2005 15:00 (twenty-one years ago)

coming out? it's been out for 3 or 4 months!

Ronan (Ronan), Friday, 7 January 2005 15:13 (twenty-one years ago)

I really love "vitalic ou qoui" as a site name.

Gravel Puzzleworth (Gregory Henry), Friday, 7 January 2005 16:23 (twenty-one years ago)

sadly i can no longer make the 22nd :-(

toby (tsg20), Friday, 7 January 2005 17:09 (twenty-one years ago)

my humble prayer

please, god, let me come into a fortune over the next week or so. i need to be able to quit my job and get a plane ticket so i can go on uk tour with this bald-or-balding ukrainian-born dude as his roadie. he's kinda like you, god. you'd like him!

andrew m. (andrewmorgan), Friday, 7 January 2005 17:48 (twenty-one years ago)

it's been out for 3 or 4 months!

ergh, i had a feeling you were going to say that. there was a thread but i don't think anyone's talked about it since the release then.

Stevem On X (blueski), Friday, 7 January 2005 18:15 (twenty-one years ago)

damn that recent dj phatty mash of larock01 and peaches' "rock show" is annoying.

andrew m. (andrewmorgan), Tuesday, 11 January 2005 21:36 (twenty-one years ago)

Bugged Out anticipation - get in!

Captain GRRRios' Giggletits (Barima), Wednesday, 12 January 2005 10:33 (twenty-one years ago)

I want his set to be so mindfuckingly intense that by the end I am now longer capable of speech or movement. Actually, scratch that, I don't want to be able to SEE.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Wednesday, 12 January 2005 12:50 (twenty-one years ago)

please keep this thread for discussions of Vitalic's forthcoming album.

it was not started with exclusive international events in mind!

Ronan (Ronan), Wednesday, 12 January 2005 12:50 (twenty-one years ago)

How soon will The Guardian champion Vitalic?

DJ Martian (djmartian), Wednesday, 12 January 2005 16:10 (twenty-one years ago)

oh dear they went and did the 'Petri-dish' thing again

Stevem On X (blueski), Wednesday, 12 January 2005 16:12 (twenty-one years ago)

it's still a good joke!

pete b. (pete b.), Wednesday, 12 January 2005 16:14 (twenty-one years ago)

knock knock

Stevem On X (blueski), Wednesday, 12 January 2005 16:27 (twenty-one years ago)

who's there?

pete b. (pete b.), Wednesday, 12 January 2005 16:32 (twenty-one years ago)

Sorry Ronan. I'm on the point of booking my ticket down to London that weekend. Is it true you have to queue for hours ON END at the End¿

Alba (Alba), Wednesday, 12 January 2005 23:31 (twenty-one years ago)

And the title is...?

OK Cowboy, release date pushed to April 18.

JoB (JoB), Sunday, 16 January 2005 18:18 (twenty-one years ago)

You heard it yet JoB?

stevo (stevo), Sunday, 16 January 2005 18:27 (twenty-one years ago)

Eh, no.

JoB (JoB), Sunday, 16 January 2005 19:09 (twenty-one years ago)

Y'know the one with the stuttering octave bassline on the intro, and then out of tune robotic vocals, and then a synth breakdown with a skittery drumbeat leading into a massive chorus? Is that Soulshaker or You Prefer Cocaine? I've got it named as both.

Ferg, Ah (Ferg), Sunday, 16 January 2005 19:41 (twenty-one years ago)

I just booked my ticket for this Saturday at The End. I'm coming down by coach god help me. Has anyone else already bought their ticket online? I feel like a bit of a square but I have no idea what the possibility of it selling out was.

Alba (Alba), Sunday, 16 January 2005 19:55 (twenty-one years ago)

so tempting. how much is it costing you all-in alba?

cozen (Cozen), Sunday, 16 January 2005 22:09 (twenty-one years ago)

22 for the coach, 15 for the ticket. You should totally come!

Alba (Alba), Sunday, 16 January 2005 23:20 (twenty-one years ago)

(National Express, not Megabus. I have some standards.)

Alba (Alba), Sunday, 16 January 2005 23:21 (twenty-one years ago)

£37 quid - bargain ! that's probably cheaper than a shag with Glaswegian prostitute and a takeaway deep fried Mars bar.

DJ Martian (djmartian), Sunday, 16 January 2005 23:39 (twenty-one years ago)

??

Alba (Alba), Sunday, 16 January 2005 23:57 (twenty-one years ago)

twisted humour Alba, your coach trip/club nite in London is cheaper than a sordid nite in Glasgow.

DJ Martian (djmartian), Monday, 17 January 2005 00:05 (twenty-one years ago)

Ferg, that's "You Prefer Cocaine"

kevin says relax (daddy warbuxx), Monday, 17 January 2005 02:33 (twenty-one years ago)

I reckon when the Vitalic album comes out every single track we've already heard should be given a different name, just to annoy people.

I don't think I can make it out on Saturday now. Rumbling skintness and siblings' birthday are making it look very unlikely.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Monday, 17 January 2005 10:39 (twenty-one years ago)

£37! wow cool. exams over and everything = so so tempting.

cozen (Cozen), Monday, 17 January 2005 10:58 (twenty-one years ago)

You won't though. You never do.

Who actually is coming? Roll call!

Alba (Alba), Monday, 17 January 2005 12:03 (twenty-one years ago)

this is going to be fun. i've got some friends coming in from new york such is the power of vitalic.

lauren (laurenp), Monday, 17 January 2005 12:51 (twenty-one years ago)

whoo!

Ric Flair On X (blueski), Monday, 17 January 2005 12:52 (twenty-one years ago)

TS: Vitalic vs my best friend's birthday vs Matt's sibling's birthday.

Captain GRRRios' Giggletits (Barima), Monday, 17 January 2005 15:31 (twenty-one years ago)

dropping likes flies :(

Stevem On X (blueski), Monday, 17 January 2005 15:45 (twenty-one years ago)

Dropping like it's hot.

Captain GRRRios' Giggletits (Barima), Monday, 17 January 2005 15:51 (twenty-one years ago)

I won't though. I do never do.

cozen (Cozen), Monday, 17 January 2005 16:39 (twenty-one years ago)

cozen (Cozen), Monday, 17 January 2005 19:45 (twenty-one years ago)

Ooh I did not see this thread until now. I will be there on Saturday (omg tomorrow!): am meeting others god knows where first, I will attempt to steer them towards the Princess Louise. And if not I will see alla y'all inside. (Alba, do not even think of leaving London again before meeting me!)

The Lex (The Lex), Sunday, 23 January 2005 06:19 (twenty-one years ago)

haha weird. I am in barcelona, my friends are in bed. I saw Lawrencand MIA from Sub Static, lots of fun. How did you meet my brother lex?

Ronan (Ronan), Sunday, 23 January 2005 09:51 (twenty-one years ago)

Aw man, I wish I could have been there. Leaving the house for all of two hours yesterday made me so tired I could barely move. Fucking flu.

RickyT (RickyT), Sunday, 23 January 2005 11:50 (twenty-one years ago)

Ronan - we were at the same bus stop waiting for the same bus, he'd been at the End too. He mentioned his brother in Ireland who wanted to be a music journalist, and I was like 'hmm that sounds familiar'. he said you were in Barcelona!

it was lovely meeting Barima at last!
