so we were going to get food at Welcome to Rockville and were between sets and we wanted to get one of the Metallica Blackened burgers, and as we're walking over there, I heard this vocalist doing this weird Edith Bunker screech and was like "are they singing a joke song?" and then the instruments got louder and I realized that it was GVF. and the line to get the burger lasted 45 minutes.

I just can't with Josh's voice. somehow i feel like he's gotten worse. he just sings the highest note possible in the most shrill way possible all the time, and it sounds like...ok, so when my dad would make fun of something my mother said and would do a fake "mom" voice, that's what it sounded like.

the band itself sounded ok! like there was nothing real memorable but at least you know they acquitted themselves well, but gooood loooord I was way too sober to hear that. but the burger was good lol.
