Nice to see these lines in the Pitchfork news item:

In the statement, Murphy does not disown the comments themselves, which misrepresent the prevalence and harm of puberty blockers, but says she will “now completely bow out of this conversation within the public domain.”

Considering she never says the word "trans" or even hints at that community in her statement, I'm guessing that would be a no. What she says is so generic and boilerplate, I'm not even exactly sure what she's referring to at a couple of points.

Basically seems like she's saying, "I'm right you're wrong but let's just drop the whole subject"
